  UPDATE: After my poor review the owner contacted me and was very professional. She explained they don't allow tasting anymore because so many people come in, taste all the flavors and buy none. I totally understand her frustration. The owner also asked me to give them another try. I agreed. We were in Swakop again today and gave them another try. After such disappointment last time we were impressed today. All the flavours were great and the ice cream was just as good as it used to be. The scoop size is smaller than it used to be but we all had the same size. I guess in the past they were probably a bit too generous. The staff aren't particularly friendly but they weren't unfriendly or rude. So we will be back and I've increased from 2 to 4 stars. ****** We come as a family every holiday almost every day of our holiday. This holiday was disappointing. The staff are unfriendly and have a very rushed attitude. Some of us got big balls of ice cream, others balls half the size. The ice cream is just as creamy but some of the flavours are now bad. They taste fake and chemical like. I always have tirimisu and salted caramel. I did not eat mine this time. The flavours were seriously bad. Some of the flavours are as they have always been though. They no longer allow tasting of new flavours and with our experience of very bad flavours we definitely will not be trying the new ones. Very disappointed. This will most probably not be a daily visit for us anymore.

  No one else can make ice-cream like Spice and Ice. Drove from Walvis just to buy ice-cream.
